Motel 6-Mcallen, Tx - McAllen

I didn't want to leave and would happily go back again. This was a very good stay out of town. I liked the room for double beds, the bed was very comfy. Top-class and helpful stuff, could n't ask for more.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were very rude.

The employees were helpful all the time. This accommodation had a central setting close to downtown.

I like the location close to a lot of the restaurants.

No iron boards or iron in room, no blow dryers either. Now a day most motels/hotels have that. Did see a few roaches (little ones).

Clean room, but dirty parking lot with trash everywhere.

Prices were excellent, and so was the service and the very friendly staff.

Noise from other people very early.

The staff was joyful and attentive , and being just a short walk to Quinta Mazatlan made my weekend strolls good.

A couple of uncomfortable surprises

I had the most amazing time with housekeeping! They were attentive and made sure my room was always perfect. One lady even gave me warm towels when I ran out, right when it was pouring outside, saved me from a chilly experience.

The price wasn't exactly low, but it was still acceptable for what I got.

decent stay but some areas need improvement

The room met my expectations for cleanliness and comfort. The location is perfect for dining options and local attractions.

Some elements of the hotel showed signs of wear and could use updates.

It was fun exploring the cultural highlights and having access to cable programming kept the little ones entertained during downtime. Plus, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

My children wanted more options for family activities. A small kids' play area would be great.

Great stay with friendly staff!

The staff were super friendly and helpful! The location felt safe and was pretty clean. Only bummer was the pool wasn't open and my room lacked a coffee pot or any extra stuff. Totally enjoyed the snack bar tho!

Preparing for Improvement

I stayed for three nights and appreciated the laminate flooring. It felt cleaner than carpets. Front desk staff were friendly. The room had a slight musty smell, but the provision of a refrigerator helped with my food storage. A tip, bring earplugs for the loud neighbors!

The location of motel 6-mcallen, tx is fantastic! It's super close to the airport and a shopping mall. I loved taking evening strolls under the moon and enjoyed some delicious seafood nearby. The pool was a life-saver amidst the texas heat! Housekeeping was very attentive and respectful. Thanks, ladies!

The room was clean and well-maintained . The staff were friendly. I appreciated the helpful housekeeping team that ensured my comfort. The location is fantastic, very close to the airport and a shopping mall. Strolling around the area in the evening was pleasant, and I enjoyed some great seafood nearby. The lobby seating could use some improvement. It wasn't very comfortable. I could have used a bit more variety in the room amenities, like a coffee maker. The stay was satisfying, but there's room for enhancement.

The Queen Room was pretty decent for the price. It had updated laminate flooring instead of the usual carpets, nice. The staff was super friendly and helped me get a mini fridge for my stay. The walls were a bit thin. I could hear some noise from next door. The AC had a musty smell and could use some maintenance. It was comfortable.
